This book is printed using a service called Print on Demand or POD. The reason I chose to publish it in this manner is so that I could maintain control over the contents and update the book as often as needed. Typically, it takes at least a year and often longer, to bring a new or revised book to the market. This is a problem for women seeking current, state of the art information. Using POD, I can revise this book and include new research whenever I feel it is needed - without any constraints from outside interests!

As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to bringing women the best information available. Unfortunately, many booksellers such as Barnes & Nobles, prefer to work only with traditional publishers. Although this book and others can be "special ordered" through any bookstore, not having it available on the shelf limits women's access to some excellent books.
